In the hospitality industry, multiple departments need to cooperate: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage. Each includes hourly employees, many of whom have worked closely with each other for years (particularly in a union shop). Relationships can become strained over time, resulting in communication breakdowns and compromised efficiency.
