From The Inside Out Project® improves the attitude and behavior of your hourly employees, resulting in improved productivity and profitability. Creator Laura MacLeod accomplishes this by applying an effective 3-step program that motivates your staff to develop trust, loyalty and group cohesion.

CHANGING THE CULTURE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION…From The Inside Out

3 STEPS TO IMPROVING STAFF PRODUCTIVITY

1 – IDENTIFY THE PROBLEMIdentify the Problem

Your hourly employees and the challenges they face are unique to your organization.  Laura MacLeod meets with your management team to identify specific issues that are affecting employee behavior and productivity.

2 – CONNECT WITH STAFF AND GET TO WORK

From The Inside Out Project is an 8-week program of 90-minute weekly sessions.

Session #1  Full Introduction to Program and Leadership

In the first session, Laura introduces herself and shares her experiences as an hourly employee for over 20 years. As she connects with employees, Laura explains the purpose and benefits of the program. She directly answers the employees’ question: “What’s in it for me?”

Sessions #2–6  Skills Taught and Practiced

These 5 sessions are the heart of the program. Employees learn how to problem solve, resolve conflict and communicate effectively. As they address specific workplace issues, employees find practical application for new skills and knowledge. Trust and group cohesion are fostered and employees become more confident and empowered.

Sessions #7–8  Managers Join the Group

Managers join employees for the last two sessions. The group practices effective communication and problem solving, addressing conflicts and differences specific to the workplace. Relationships are strengthened and harmony begins to flourish. Your employees and managers now have the tools to perform happily and productively.

3 – REINFORCE AND FOLLOW UP

As with any new method, practice and reinforcement increase effectiveness. Periodic meetings with hourly employees — to be determined by need — strengthen skills and address new problems that have arisen. Management may beSupervisionTEXT included to practice and reinforce effective communication.

The Project works with every business that hires hourly personnel, but especially benefits the following industries: Hospitality, Restaurants, Retail, Banking, and Reception.
